How to touchup interior paint?
Are you wanting to touch up a spot on your walls, but feeling a little intimidated by the process? Don't worry — touching up paint is actually quite straightforward. Whether you're dealing with a scuff mark or some patch your trying to paint , it’s important to do the job right so the new paint blends onto the paint already on the wall. It's important to keep in mind that repainting your whole wall will always be the best option.
Storing your leftover paint from your paint projects will always be a life hack in moments like these where you want to do touch ups. If you painted with Sanzula paint you are lucky because our paint comes in a Matte finish and that finish is the easiest to blend.
What you will need for this project:
- Left over paint
- Brush
- Small blending roller
1.Prep
A successful touch up relies on proper prep work. Prior to starting, clean the affected area and address any cracks or holes that need addressing.
2.Blend
Use the same painting tool as you did for the original project, then apply small amounts of paint to target areas starting from middle outward in gentle strokes - this will help with getting the least amount of paint in the outer edges.
